Katrina Goodwin is a new stylist at Imagine Peace Studio. Katrina is proud to say she was able to train with the number one educational team in the nation, John Paul Mitchell Systems. During her time at PMTS (Paul Mitchell the School) Tinley Park, Katrina focused on being the nicest and most genuine visionary she could be. That winning attitude lead her not only to have great relationship with her peers and mentors alike, but to become student of the month and win numerous competitions including Caper and Beacon 2015.
Katrina believes that practicing her craft at Imagine Peace Studio is one of the greatest gifts given to her. She is thrilled to be able to serve others within this community, and is even more thrilled about all we will accomplish together.
Educational Background and Distinctions
Katrina describes Caper 2015 (a PMTS nationwide competition) as an enormous part of her training within John Paul Mitchell Systems. She, along with hundreds of other Future Professionals, traveled to Las Vegas Nevada and were granted the opportunity to learn and hear from the very best in the beauty industry and our Paul Mitchell world. It was during this time Katrina had the honor of being one of six chosen to be featured in PMTS promotional videos for future students. These videos were shot by John Paul Mitchell Systems Global Director of Motion and Film, Takashi Kitamura, an icon in the beauty industry as a platform artist and international educator. This once in a lifetime opportunity further grew Katrina’s passion to inspire and motivate others, and because of that passion, she was granted a full scholarship to attend Beacon 2015 in Las Vegas Nevada. Being in that atmosphere and hearing from icons like Nicholas French, Vivienne Mackinder, and Phillip Wilson has given her a great understanding about where you will go when you surround yourself with people who are better than you, and you have a deep desire to learn.
